Contest open to:  Children in grades K-8 attending New Haven Public & Private Schools. Prizes awarded to winner and the 8 runners up, plus the winner's class will also receive a prize!!!

Did you know that our wind turbine (which should generate 165,000 kWh of power per year) will SAVE the (approximate) equivalent of ....

• greenhouse gas emissions from 23 passenger cars per year, or
• CO2 emissions from burning 276 barrels of oil annually, or
• greenhouse gas emissions from 40 tons of yearly landfill waste
